Massage Cupping

60 minutes: $85

Getting Cupped

How does cupping work?

Cupping involves placing glass, plastic or silicone cups on the skin and creating a vacuum by suctioning out the air. The underlying soft tissue is lifted or sucked into the cup. The cups can be stationery or moved around. Cupping is the opposite of massage. Rather than applying pressure to muscles, the cup uses suction or negative pressure to pull skin, soft tissue and muscles upward.

What does it do?
Cupping therapy can be used to move stagnation, relieve inflammation, stimulate blood flow, increase lymph movement , reduce cellulite and sedate or calm the nervous system.  Cupping is also used to lift and stretch soft
tissue (fascia, connective tissue, muscle and attachments), it can separate fused tissue layers such as adhesions, release and soften scar tissue, open body drainage systems and increase hydration of tissues.

Face Lifting & Drainage

45 minutes: $60

I am pleased to offer Facial Cupping Therapy as a wonderful and effective alternative to a chemical, laser or surgical facelift. This treatment is designed to bring circulation to the skin and facial muscles, stimulate collagen and elastin production, smooth fine lines, ease puffy or dark under eye circles, release tight facial muscles and drain out stagnant lymph and toxins.

Your face will appear tighter and toned. The drainage system of the face and neck will function significantly better after a short series of treatments and maintenance.

Treatment Benefits

The benefits include increased local circulation to the skin, increased nutrients brought to the epidermis, and enhanced overall hydration. The drainage of stagnant fluids from reservoir areas will reduce edema and chronic puffiness. Lines and wrinkles will plump whereas scar tissue will soften from the negative pressure created by the cups, making it an exceptionally powerful and surprisingly relaxing session.

Treatment Protocol

While a single treatment is incredibly effective and will produce visible results, the protocol is most effective when done in a series to facilitate clear drainage pathways and nourished tissues. Treatments should be at least 2 days apart but, not more than 5 days apart. An effective series of 8-10 treatments should be followed by maintenance sessions once or twice a month. Each session duration is 45-60 minutes.
